How long does it take to complete the courses for a USA Basketball license?

To become a USA Basketball Gold Licensed coach, you will be required to complete two courses and to submit your background screen. The courses are a USA Basketball coaching course and a course from the U.S. Center for Safe Sport.

Each course can take anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes to complete. You do not have to complete the courses in one sitting. Your progress will be saved upon return.

You should expect the entire process to take between two and three hours to complete.

You will not become licensed until the background screen has completed and cleared and both your courses are completed.
