Why does my background screening bubble say "invalid"?

A common reason your background screen Start button would say Invalid is if any of your address is missing, such as your city or state. Please make sure all of your personal information fields are complete by clicking on the person icon on the top right and then View Profile.

Your full legal name and address are required in order to validate your background check and must be completed before the background screen can be initiated.

If your personal information is correct, and you still are seeing the Invalid message next to Background Screening, please contact [e-mail] for help.

If you need to change your legal name or date of birth, please contact USA Basketball at [e-mail] BEFORE submitting your background screen. If a second screen is required due to inaccurate information, it will be at the coach's expense.
